Here is an uranyl silicate mineral that is radioactive due to its uranium content. Boltwoodite is present here as bright yellowish orange sprays on what appears to be black calcite. If you look closely though, the boltwoodite crystals are actually encased/frozen in a layer of colorless gypsum, giving them a wet, more rounded appearance!

I've seen glassware made with uranium and it glows green under a UV light. Did you get the chance to try that?
